The hood has been designed to protect both the operator and the surrounding/external environment from possible contamination from the handling of toxic or harmful chemical substances coming from the work area. Depending on the nature of the vapors treated, simple carbon filters or those impregnated with chemical substances can be used to promote the absorption or neutralization of the substances in use.
