GP Flow Activa
Simple to use and compact machine, it is designed for small spaces or to be easily transported from department to department by trolley. Created to protect the product, the operator and the environment, the GP Flow hood allows pollutants to be removed directly at the source, by means of a vertical laminar flow of sterile air in the chamber and on the work surface.
Part of the aspirated air is recirculated in the room with or without absolute filtration (HEPA exhaust filter as standard in the plus model and in the standard GP-H). In the standard GP Flow model, the laminar flow is generated by 2 internal radial motor fans, controlled by the operator, who can vary the vertical flow speed as desired by means of the luminous switch and the control variator located on the keyboard.
In the Plus model, the electronic board automatically controls and verifies that the vertical laminar flow is always aligned with the value requested and set by the user, and the digital display shows the vertical laminar flow speed in real time at any moment, expressed in meters/second
Due to its construction, it is clearly not a Biohazard hood but a small vertical laminar flow hood (those equipped with a HEPA filter also in expulsion are recommended), in the absence of biological risk. In the PCR model, 80% of the air that passes through the HEPA filter and reaches the work surface with laminar flow is expelled frontally towards the operator (maximum protection of the product, zero for the operator) while only 20% passes through the perforated surface and is taken up by the motor fans to be recirculated.
